Justin Bieber busted: Are you surprised?
With the number of run-ins with the law Justin Bieber has had in the past year, one would think the arrest was coming Bieber’s way, sooner rather than later. After his egg-pelting session at his neighbour’s house and cops raiding his mansion to find drugs all over his place, the DUI (Driving Under Influence) arrest seemed like ‘just a matter of time” in Bieber’s downward spiral.

And if his beaming mugshot is anything to go by, the buzz about his possible rehab entry has been doing the rounds for a reason.
The 19-year-old was busted Thursday morning for drag racing in a rented yellow Lamborghini and failing a sobriety test in Miami. His entourage had blocked up a portion of the road to create a make-shift drag strip for him, causing backed up traffic. He was going “up to 60” mph in a residential neighbourhood where the speed limit is 30, that too with an expired driving license from Georgia, reportedly. Bieber has also been charged with resisting arrest, and he hurled a volley of F-words at the cops when he was taken in.
With bloodshot eyes and a look of ‘stupor” on his face, police reports say a defiant Bieber yelled, ‘”Why the f**k are you doing this? What the f**k did I do. Why did you stop me?” When the officer tried to perform a routine pat down, Bieber said, “I ain’t got no f**king weapons, why do you have to search me? What the f**k is this about?”
At the time of arrest Bieber claimed he wasn’t drunk and was returing from recording music, though he was photographed only hours earlier at a nightclub with model Chantel Jeffries, who was a passenger in his car. Bieber’s father Jeremy was in a SUV next to him when he was arrested. Cops also arrested rapper Khalil who was driving Bieber’s red Ferrari during the race.
His mugshot showed a grinning Bieber, and several other expressions flooded the internet, alongwith the leaked video of him being arrested. He appeared in front of a judge via close circuit TV, and was released after his bail was set at $2500 (`155,357). Bieber was apparently giggling after being locked up, but was much more composed when he was released Thursday afternoon, hiding his face behind dark sunglasses and a hoodie, waving as he entered a waiting car.
